BCC Film Archive - ie What’s been on

To start.  Because we had no formal structure, no constitution, and no money (therefore no bank account), BCC started operating under the aegis of Bude Partnership and the first season of five films was run with the help of Carn to Cove (Cornwall's Arts Touring Scheme).

For this initial season, we are grateful to five local businesses for their sponsorship; they are Camelot Hotel, Michael Vanstone (Groundworks and Tarmac), Safe & Sound Electrical Supplies, Sam Edwards Garage and HBH Woolacotts.

BCC was formally constituted on 19 November 2008 and we started operating independently in March 2009.

Presented by The Surf Screen

Would you like to stage your own film screening?

We have the equipment and the experience, so if you are involved with an organisation (whether voluntary or commercial) and want to put on a film event, please get in touch.  We can also help with ticket printing.

Costs will need to be discussed.  Our policy is to seek a contribution if it’s a commercial event.  As a community cinema, we will do our best, where possible, to support the aims of voluntary and/or charitable groups at little or no charge.
